POP Meeting Tonight at THE RIV

Reminder that our April meeting is tonight at The Riv Cafe (401 E 10th St) at 6 pm. Because they have big event tomorrow (and they are doing us a favor by staying open after their usual closing time of 3 pm), they cannot offer their food menu for us, but they will be serving beer, wine, coffee, tea, AND they'll make a batch of bread pudding for those of us with a sweet tooth.

'Hope to see you tonight!

POP Meeting Thursday April 25th at THE RIV CAFE 6 PM

POPPERS! Please note the location change for our Thursday meeting. Sorry for the changes. First we changed the date of the meeting due to the Candidates Forum tonight. And now we are changing the location to The Riv Cafe (401 E Tenth St) because Route 30's back room was already booked. There's a lot going on, locally, at the state level, and certainly at the national level. There is much that we can do to make a difference. 'Hope to see you all on Thursday. After this month, our meetings will continue on the 4th Tuesday each month at Route 30 on 2nd St.

Candidates Forum Tonight at 6

REMINDER: The Dalles Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidates Forum tonight at 6 at the Senior Center for all local candidates who will be on the May 21 ballot. Please come and support the candidates who are running for office and hear what they have to say about their positions. Doors open at 5:30. 'Hope to see a lot of POPPERS there.

POP Meeting Date Change

Next POP meeting will be Thursday, April 25th at our usual place and time - 6 pm at Route 30 (317 E 2nd St).

This change is because the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidates' Forum on our regular meeting date that we hope our members will all attend. The Forum is for all local candidates on the ballot for May, including those running for school board, fire board, port commission, ESD positions and many others. It will be at the Senior Center, Tuesday May 23rd at 6:00 pm. We hope to see you at both events!

Please come and ask your questions or just come to listen and support your local Indivisble group (POP) who wants to hold Walden accountable for enabling the most corrupt president in our country's history. Let's show our congressman what democracy looks and sounds like!

WALDEN TOWN HALL - Friday March 15 at 11:15 AM The Dalles Civic Auditorium

POPPERS - WE NEED YOU! This Friday, March 15th, at 11:15 am at The Dalles Civic Auditorium, Greg Walden is holding his first town hall in two years in Wasco County. Let's make up for lost time and let him know that we're still not satisfied with his representation. Come early to get a ticket if you want to speak. If you don't want to speak, get a ticket anyway and give it to someone who does. We are encouraging speakers to make statements rather than asking him questions. If you ask a question, he'll just deflect.
