August 10, 2017 POP Meeting Notes

1. Report on August 5 meeting in Condon. This gathering offered a great opportunity for the surrounding OR D2 Indivisible groups to meet, connect, converse, and corroborate on the work to change the district and build a sustained progressive agenda.

2. The fundraising letter that Walden sent out “Let me cut to the chase . . .” was read. Beverly then read her letter that she submitted to both the Chronicle and Hood River news that started with “Let me cut to the chase . . .”

CANCELLED - Indivisible Potluck

Due to poor air quality we are postponing the potluck until fall. We'll discuss a new date at our next meeting, Sept 19. Hope to see you all there!

Bring your family, a dish, and a friend to our community potluck!
We will be at the covered area at Sorosis Park from 3:30-5:30 on Sunday Sept. 10.

Let me cut to the chase. Constituents in Oregon District 2 are fully aware that Representative Greg Walden has sold out to corporate interests and the chaotic Trump administration as evidenced not only through his voting record and the corporate campaign donations he receives, but also because he was the chief architect of the failed disastrous health care bill.
