Please pass the word that we would like to have a HUGE turnout for the County Commissioners' Public Hearing on their "Resolution Supporting Second Amendment Rights" this Wednesday at 5:30 at the Wasco County Courthouse, 2nd floor. High Priority Turnout Needed Wednesday July 17 at 5:30 pm

We are calling on all POP members and friends to attend a public hearing with the Wasco County Commission to support gun safety laws already enacted by the Oregon Legislature. Lights for Liberty - Friday July 12 at 8 pm

Hey Poppers, Let's turn out for this!

This Friday from 8PM-9PM, meet in front of The Dalles Post Office and light a candle for those being held in detention camps! Together we will light up the World (and Social Media) to demand an end to human detention camps. This is a Worldwide event which Indivisible is helping promote. Let's make a statement locally with a good crowd!

Walden Town Hall Today at 4 in Cascade Locks

There are so many things to ask Representative Walden about. We have a chance to do it today in Cascade Locks at 4 pm at the Marine Park Pavilion Building, 395 Portage Road.

As we know, Walden is a clever politician who will try to spin his own accomplishments in a positive light, and criticize everything Democrats are trying to do. Let's try to get him on the record with some of the critical things happening right now. Following are some sample questions. I'm sure you can think of many more!

Indivisible Poll Results and Last Day for Quarter 2 Donations

Indivisible conducted another flash poll after Thursday's debate, and probably this won't be a surprise, but 65% of Indivisible members resonding said Kamala Harris won the debate. Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders were tied for a distant second place with 7% each.

If any of the candidates really stood out to you and you feel inclined to make a donation, today is the last day your donation will count for the second quarter.

The Debate Party Continues

Great turnout at our Debate-Watching Party last night. Indivisible reported the results of their poll taken right after the debate, which we participated in. Here are the results for last night, based on thousands of responses: Warren 56%; Castro 15%; Booker 10%. NBC News put out the following article about the Indivisible Poll:

Debate Watching Party Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week from 6-8 at Steve and Karen Murray's place. Bring food and/or a beverage to share. Their address is 2646 E 11th St. To get there, go out E 10th and turn right on Morton St.

DEBATE-WATCHING PARTY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY (June 26 and 27) at the home of Karen and Steve Murray (2645 E 11th St, off of Morton St) from 6-8 pm. Bring a snack and/or beverages to share! Indivisible has some fun activities developed just for debate-watching parties. 'Hope you can join us!
